As another academic year draws to a close, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the incredible work of the staff, students, parents, and wider O’Connell School community.
Throughout the year, we have celebrated countless achievements across classrooms, sports fields, cultural activities, student leadership, wellbeing initiatives, and community partnerships. So often we move quickly from one challenge to the next without stopping to recognise just how much has been accomplished.
What continues to stand out to me is the dedication, care, and commitment shown by our staff every day. Their belief in our students and their willingness to go above and beyond is what makes O’Connell School such a special place.
For a relatively small school, we continue to achieve at a level that far exceeds expectations. That success is built on teamwork, ambition, resilience, and a shared commitment to providing the very best opportunities for our young people.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to another successful year. I am immensely proud of what we have achieved together.
